I
am a Botanical Illustrator living and working in Sheffield, UK. I came
to this art form after a successful career in painting and teaching
landscape and still life in watercolour. I have had a deep love of
flowers since childhood. With a science degree in Geography and Botany
and a certificate in Botanical Illustration from the University of
Sheffield I am able to combine my knowledge and love of plants with
artistic skill to produce botanically accurate flower portraits that
have impact when hung on a wall. I always paint from life, using
watercolour on paper.
